We seek a quotation for an industrial robotic arm system to automate the unloading of 25 kg plastic bags containing food-grade citric into a reaction tank. The system must handle continuous pick-and-place operations with high precision, repeatability, and durability in a chemically demanding environment.
General Specifications and Requirements:
- Capacity: Minimum 25 kg (to handle 25 kg plastic bags + gripper weight)
- Gripper Type: Mechanical electric parallel gripper or similar rigid mechanical system (NO pneumatic, NO vacuum/suction systems)
- High repeatability (for precise positioning and bag cut-off alignment)
- Material Compatibility: All components must be food-grade compatible (NSF-H1 lubricants, stainless steel fasteners where applicable)
- Material: Stainless steel AISI 304/316 components (food-grade contact surfaces)
- Corrosion Protection: Nitrided or hard-anodized jaws or similar (citric acid environment)
- Include a reliable, integrated system to open/cut the bags for full content discharge
- Cut Quality: Clean, controlled cut to minimize granulate spillage
- Blade Material: Hardened stainless steel, replaceable or self-sharpening
- Gripping Force: Adjustable via software
- Data logging and recording capabilities (if available)
- Predictive maintenance analytics module (if available)

Task Description:

- Pick plastic bags (25 kg) from wooden pallets
- Align bags at cutting/opening station
- Automatic cutting/opening mechanism to rupture or slit the bag
- Discharge contents (food-grade citric acid granulate) directly into reaction tank
- Discard empty bags in designated container
- Bag Type: Plastic bags (polyethylene or polypropylene), 25 kg capacity, dimensions to be confirmed
- Product: Food-grade citric acid (non-corrosive granulate, CAS 77-92-9, food-grade purity)
- Cycle Time: To be optimized based on gripper and system efficiency
- Operational Frequency: Continuous operation, 8-10 hours/day, 5-6 days/week.
