Enhanced Cellular Dog Harness/Collar    There will be either a physical harness/collar plus an APP to execute some of the features.
There are pictures *** that displays the type of 'harness' or collar I am referring to.
The collar will feature a camera. Via the APP the owner will be able to see what the dog can see.
The collar will have a 'speaker' so the owner (via the APP) can 'talk' to the dog remotely or play recorded messages in the owner's voice - possibly triggered by something like barking. "Rover sit! ". This will be the complicated part as the dog cannot "answer" a telephone call. The APP will need the ability to activate or instigate a call from the owner's end. This would mean that the devise is really only switched on when the owner wants to check in via the APP. Having said that it would be great to record the days activities or the ability of the device to send a notification if for example the dog barks for more than 3 minutes or some other trigger. Possible there could be several modes.
The EDHC needs to be connected to the cellular mobile network, it cannot rely on WiFi.
When the owner is checking in they also need the audio activated so they can hear what is going on at the dog's end.
The functionality is flexible as to how we want to use it. If it's easier to change our requirements slightly because it will make the product 'doable', then that's what we will do. As long as we still achieve the basic end goals.
So really what I want is for the dog to be wearing a mobile phone that can be activated/answered via an APP and is mounted to a harness! Which may make the sourcing task a little clearer.
We will need to do operate on one of the networks in Australia and New Zealand, so we need to be compliant with their specifications. (Same will be the case if we get into other foreign markets. )
